RF ENGINEER
Location: Port Ludlow WA, on the Olympic Peninsula.

Required Skills:
Experience designing low noise receivers and amplifiers in the DC-2Ghz range. Power amplifier design to 25W. Background in software-defined radios desirable. Design, test, and troubleshoot RF / electronic circuits and embedded firmware. Perform RF integrated circuit simulations using SPICE and RF simulation software. Work closely with RF system design engineer to ensure RF System requirements are met from concept through volume production. Be actively involved in the full design cycle from specification definition to subassembly and final product testing.
Experienced in surface mount design and assembly practices.
Antenna design experience preferred.
TIC54x DSP, C, C++ and assembly programming a plus.

Qualifications:
BS/MSEE with experience in RF amplifier and low noise receiver design.
Hands-on laboratory experience using RF measurement and verification systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Extensive experience with TIC54x - DSP, C, C++, Linux OS and assembly programming. Candidate should have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Candidate should have knowledge of configuration management tools. Background in software defined radios preferred. Perform integration and testing of software designs. Contribute to overall maintenance of software. Produce documentation of specifications and test plans. Radio transceiver experience a plus.

Duties:

• Have product brochures printed for distribution
• Google Adwords ads - set-up campaign and monitor analytics
• Monitor website using Google Analytics

• Burn CDs
• Create CD labels (I use Avery DesignPro)
• Provide sales information for Production meetings (requires skill in MS Excel)
• Maintain sales data and graphs to aid in generating sales forecasts (requires skill in MS Excel)
• Write press releases (requires skill in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and a graphics program such as Fireworks)
• Perform ECN's (Change requests with justification) for product brochures, product information, etc.
• Presentations (requires skill in MS PowerPoint and a graphics program such as Fireworks)
• Research using Google or other search engines (for competition analysis, potential markets for products, looking up company profiles, searching for graphics, etc.)
• Schedule meetings and telecoms
• Write agendas for meetings/take group meeting notes on rotation
• Website proposals for adding products, content, or making changes
• Set up conference booth/display
• Set up and use AIS equipment
• Use AIS viewing software and chart plotters
• Create and order graphics for conferences (requires skill in a graphics program such as Fireworks)
• Review and make changes to product literature (such as User's Manuals)
