Shine Micro, Inc. participated in the annual RTCM conference in 2006
as both hosts of a hospitality suite and as a Presenter on the topic of
Class B AIS and the beneficial properties of CSTDMA transmission protocol.
In addition to the highly successful RadarPlus line of AIS Receivers;
Shine Micro announced the forth-coming line AIS/MURS hybrid products at
RTCM 06, aptly named "Trackers" and "Pingers". These
hybrid products receive AIS signals for navigation purposes while transmitting
their own signals on Multi Use Radio Service (MURS) frequencies which
allow for text messaging and encryption.
