Two new AIS receiver models have been developed to Mil-Spec standards by Shine Micro for use on avionics platforms:

  • SA161-MH
    High-sensitivity dual AIS receivers in a DZUS rail-mount enclosure


  • SA161-UA
    High-sensitivity dual AIS receivers for PCB-level integration

The SA161-MH was designed for use in the MH60 helicopter and other aircraft.

The SA161-UA was selected for integration into the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) ScanEagleTM , which is widely deployed by The Boeing Company in support of the U.S. Navy. ScanEagleTM is manufactured by Insitu, Inc., of Bingen, WA.
